Not sure about the 6.2 but I've got a 6.0 in a 2011 2500 GMC 4WD with 3:73 rears that I pulled my 3500 lb boat with. It's rated a 360 hp @ 5400rpm and 380 ft-lbs or torque @ 4200 rpms. As long as the road was fairly flat it did ok at hwy speed, 65-75 mph, but throw in some hills or even steep inclines it worked it's butt off, even in tow mode but it never got hot even in the Oklahoma summers. I get around 13-14 around town not pulling anything. I've got Flowmaster 40 series duals on it and it sounds great, for me anyway.
And oh yeah, it's got 182,000 miles on it.
Where is everyone #5

The specs on the 6.2 are 385 hp @ 5750, 430 ft. lbs. torque @ 3800.
Certainly not going to pull like our 6.7 diesels, but the truck will be primarily used for hauling a 105 gallon slip tank, tool box, and all the accompanying crap that we need on the job, and occasionally pulling our job trailer which probably weighs less than 10,000 lbs.SAR, Ruthless, 4mer trucker and 4 others Thank this. -
They are not really any less expensive, and with the F 350 we can haul heavier if needed.......that is my thinking anyway.SAR, Ruthless, Hurricane69 and 5 others Thank this.

Also, I can't get an 8' bed with a crew cab in an F 150.SAR, Ruthless, Hurricane69 and 6 others Thank this.

My 91 379 has all the guages except the trip meter. Any on ever add one? The the plug just teed in I don't wanna go to hacking her up
SAR, Crusader66, Hurricane69 and 6 others Thank this. -
My 89 has a separate trip meter, but it doesn't work well. It's a small rectangular push button resettable thing between the tach and speedo. I believe the wiring to it is ok, just the mechanical part moves but is illegible. Does yours not have that?SAR, Crusader66, Hurricane69 and 5 others Thank this.

I have one in both my trucks. I use them for oil change mileage.

Can't help ya....SAR, Oxbow, Crusader66 and 4 others Thank this.
