Man, you are worrying about nothing. There is no database where your refusal is stored. The only way anyone is going to find out you refused a drug screen is if you tell them or you list US Express as a previous employer. Secondly, almost everyone in the industry knows what a joke DAC is. If it makes you feel more comfortable I have 2 hair follicle test refusals on my DAC and I am employed by one of the biggest private carriers in the country.

Thank you. I appreciate the info

You'll be fine as other members have said, clean MVR, you're ahead of a lot of your peers with that. Just keep on keeping on, be proactive instead of reactive, and I'm sure it'll all work out to your benefit, especially since you have successfully avoided a bottom feeding mega carrier.

seems like you got the short end of the straw there buddy i'd move on to another company and forget about those losers sounds like they have no empathy what so ever .

So I'm curious, how did USA truck know of you leaving the site or having a refusal if it's not on your dac?
-
USA truck knew because I told them about usexpress. Guys I just got a letter in the mail from usexpress pertaining to the refusal it says in bold print I'm disqualified from safety sensitive duties as well as operating a cmv so what now it's gonna be on my doc?
-
Keep checking your DAC if it pops up try to get it taken off. Worst case is it stays on there and you would have to take SAP classes. If you go local they may not use DAC so what they will know is what you list. What you list and don’t is what you need to figure out for yourself.
-
After the sap class how hard would it be for me to get a job? I forgot to say this but I notified my recruiter and the head of orientation 5 minutes after starting my walk back to the hotel that I walked out.
-
How would I get it taken off, I've already talked to usexpress's safety supervisor and all they told me was that I knew what I was doing and that it would be a refusal.
