It is best to get a truckers atlas and know how to use it, gps is nice but you still need to know truck routes, low bridges and them gps,s will give you a bad turn sometimes.

oh and know that navigo(the truck gps system) is set to route you the "shortest" route which isnt always the fastest and often times takes far longer with more stop and starts.
wherever possible I always took a toll road which navigo will look to avoid as a set parameter.
so doing trip planning via atlas is a best imo and follow that , then see how well navigo matches your assessment.QuietStorm, gentleroger and Danny N Angel Thank this. -
