Bigblue19 pretty much explained the basics, but the C corp supposedly has the most protection as far as personal liability and assets, we did C corp when contracted to FDX Ground.

 

I run as a LLC, but you need to have a sitdown with a business advisors to work out what is best for you.

 

Why did you choose C-corp?

 

Our accountant recommended it ,especially since we had long term plans of growing and going multiple trucks/employees which did happen, in her opinion a c corp offered the most protection, however I do know multiple truck contractors who did s corp and to my knowledge didn't have any issues , but I don't want to say which one is better because c corp is the only one I am familiar with .
