Public Citizen and the rest of them can go rot. Start cracking down on the idiot 4-wheelers driving tired, etc for a change.

Wouldn't you know that Public Citizen (as well as C.R.A.S.H.) is funded by the Railroads

What a bunch of idiots.... the old rules allowed you to extent the work day by allowing you to have unlimited off- duty hours between driving times. The 14 hour rule allows some type of uniformed work / rest pattern.

Worked a whole lot better when I could LEGALLY take a nap or eat when I wanted to.My opinion-drive until you get tired, sleep until you wake up.Customers get upset, but I didn`t run over their family trying to make it .The new rules have filled the truckstop parking lots, thats for sure.

According to the broom riding Joan Claybrook they did in the old days. Now they don't.

I despise that woman's stand on the issues and her hatred of truck drivers. Unless I can verify ANY THING that comes out of her mouth with another source I will not believe any thing she says.

    Lilbit Thanks this.

You can still "LEGALLY" take a nap if you get tired , you just can't extend your day anymore ..... I know you can by 'split' break with at least 8 hrs in the sleeper , but that isn't really practical.
