EBay might be cheapest, but they sell than at TarpStop.
Size? Only you know what size coils you haul. -
I don't haul coils on a regular basis this set is my first in a year it was a pain to pull out my big tarp to cover them so that is why I am looking at coil bags
-
You want to buy specific tarps for freight you almost never haul? I'd rather have a smallish steel tarp that can be used so much more rather than lug around that weight and wasted space for something that you really do and it might not even be the right size.
Coils are easy to tarp with the right equipment.stwik, Mattflat362, Bean Jr. and 1 other person Thank this. -
That's good advice I am not a tarp hero what size tarp would you sujest

16 x 24 sends pretty versatile. Not very heavy, covers a lot of different loads. Be sure it has rows of d rings on all four sides. You can modify that depending on what other types of freight you haul and tarp.Lepton1, Highway Sailor, brsims and 3 others Thank this.

If you want to keep them for a long time, get stainless steel D-rings. The plain chromed steel ones will rust quickly. That rust just grinds away at the webbing holding them on and eventually wears through. Might get 1.5 years of your lucky .
If course, someone has gotten 15 years out of theirs.Mattflat362, snowman_w900 and Ruthless Thank this. -
An 18 X 24 mid weight tarp is very versatile.
This is what I use for a number of steel loads, be it coils or what ever. Personally I prefer web loops to D rings. 4 rows all the way around. First row 6 inches from the edge.
I tie tarps with rope.
Padding is your friend.Mattflat362 and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
What Rusty said, If you ever have a tarp with stainless steel D rings

I bought a coil bag about 6 months ago. It has not fit one coil yet out of the 15 or so I’ve hauled. Waste of money unless you do it every day in my opinion.
Lesson learned for $200D.Tibbitt, Lepton1, blairandgretchen and 2 others Thank this.
