LOL no i havent are you saying your marbles are broken
-
Mostly.
That is, what marbles I have left, ........ right?
-
Well, I dunno about you, but I learned in 3rd grade that dot was actually spelled D.O.T. And I done gone learned grammar as well. I also learned question marks follow a sentence. As well as capitalizing my "i"s; along with using multiple exclamation points is improper usage of English language punctuation.

Actually, an address is just a location of something. The debate that was going on here was: What constitutes an address? To some, its a city and state, to others its a numbered street address. My logbook has "Schneider National, Green Bay, WI" and the zip. Other drivers don't think that is an address...etc etc etc. -
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
-
hmm, possibly.

Truck drivers are not air combat squadron members that have to track geographical mission requirements in complicated ways, their sleeping patterns are just not allowed to flux in that manner (which questions the need for graphs)?
Always provide the totals -- the pretty graph lines just confirm your numbers and information. When they don't match, you have to rewrite the log sheet to accurately reflect what you did. If you make a mistake, say WOW, hey, you are right, I feel so stupid? Can I correct that?
Does that sound better than "Hey my INSTRUCTOR told me ........". Does that sound like you want a refresher class?
Do you love to fill out paperwork for free? Or should we be compensated for our time?

You are allowed to log multiple days off duty on ONE page.
Line One OFF DUTY; 24 X number of days
1 day = 24
2 days = 48
3 days = 72
so on and so on. -
The graphs are there for a number of valid reasons. Graphing allows and shows in detail a truckers activity throughout a certain time period. With the current laws that are in place, its the best visual representation we can have to show our activity. Start at this time, you can't drive / work past this time...etc.
As far as sleep patterns...it also depends on the driver, the person. I don't know of many (if any) experienced driver who complains that much, or at all, about sleeping patterns...because you get used to it.
*some drivers drive all day, sleep at night...because they can work it that way.
*other drivers are able to sleep anytime, anywhere, dark or light.
Heck I normally go to bed around midnight in my apartment, and a couple of days ago, I went to bed around 8pm. Not much of a time difference, but I had to sleep in the truck which I hardly do....but I had a strategy: get in bed, close my eyes, and sleep. worked out pretty well. -
Now heres a question that Im sure has been asked before....how do you log multiple days, that are greater than five days? Im asking because...thats over 100 hours. Less than five days is under 100 hours so its easy to write into the hour boxes.
For example...on my logbook, I have total boxes that look like this [ ][ ][ ] [ ]....one number can go into each box....[2][4][0][0] is 24 hours. How can you write in 100 hours, because you only have two boxes for the hours...the other two are for the fractions of the hour...00, 15, 30, 45.
That might not have made any sense at all. lol, let me know
