Just a quick thought. Seeing the truck is 17 years old, I would think it will need more work in the future. What do you plan on using it for?

Update: I have a new speedo coming in from my local shop, which has a digital odo. Quite excited for that. I'll post an update when it comes in.

Dusty, I plan on running just a dry van. I've been doing quite a lot of inspecting on just about everything I could think of. Dash panels are all tore off at the moment, lol. But you're right, eventually it'll need something else.

    DustyRoad Thanks this.

Update: I got the new speedo in and hooked it all up.

Took it for a test drive and come to find out, it works!

But for some reason, I couldn't figure out why my radio, which is also new, wouldn't come on, except for the blue lights on the front. I figured it was because of a new digital speedo, so when I got back to the house, I disconnected the radio power, plugged it back in, and that seemed to fix it.

I set the dip switches on the new speedo before my test drive, but apparently didn't do it correctly, because it only registered 20mph the entire time. Old on left, new on right. Do I just need to reverse the order?

Also, this truck lost it's hood emblem sometime in the past. Got a new one from the shop, but have no clue on how to fasten it into the grille. Any tips?

    Thanks guys!

Update: I've flipped the dip switches in the opposite order and everything is working normally. Also I have the pins coming in for the hood badge.
