I'm very much in the same school of thought as you, that's what I was saying about the T800. I want it kinda plain, regular LED lights, two air horns, 5 clearance lights just a regular work truck. I do like some chrome and I want straight pipes with a resonator under the cab to quite it down. I think the straights just look "clean" blue it eliminates clamps to crack and rust and it opens up your field of vision a fair amount.OLDSKOOLERnWV, Shock Therapy, Crusader66 and 9 others Thank this.

This was my first T800, it was about perfect. Lights under the doors and headache rack, fog lights just a work truck. I would have liked air cleaners and individual fenders. It was a 6NZ 550 with an 18 speed it was sweet.

I can't tell. I'm not sure that I have ever seen a 41 in person. The biggest that I have run was a 31, pushed by a 9R. I never made it to a job that ran big iron, but would have enjoyed it for a while at least.
There are videos out by SoCal Earthmoving, or something like that. Those Cali boys used big iron whether they needed to or not it seems. They sure don't mess around with getting dirt moved. I often wonder how on earth they could get compaction putting it in that fast.
Edit to add: I assume you were speaking on the scraper. I'm not up on IH cabovers enough to know if they had an F model.Shock Therapy, Crusader66, 1951 ford and 5 others Thank this. -
