You know, I've said many times that the federal government in Canada should take the forefront and have uniform/standard guidelines on the regulations up there such as in the U.S. Re. CDL's instead of the provincial governments having 11 (9 provinces & 2 territories) different rules with the individual provinces setting their own guidelines.

Correct, they wont adjust without hard engagement. As per your "proper circle check your suppost to pump your brakes to check low air warnin light an buzzer, plus how much air drop at full application. They should adjust themselves between those two actions. Pump the brakes down in full brake applications an test for amount of air pressure drop and air psi drop while holdin down brake pedal! -
Where's Blackstock? I've been to ON many times when I was a federal agent for meetings with the MTO but I can't remember where that is.

One of the best 10-day city-wide parties around ... glad you could make it.
BTW, that's Stampede with a capital "S".
While many of us [sometimes] wish it were only nine provinces, Quebec hasn't left yet.
And, as of April 1, 1999, there are now three territories as the Northwest Territories was split to create Nunavut. Although Nunavut is the largest territory in Canada (a little over three times larger than Texas), they only have about 20 miles of road.
You did better than most Americans though.

Blackstock is bout 15 minutes North of Bomanville, Ont

We have very strict guidelines.... ours are the same for the most part as y'all down in the states. Yes we have different names an letters, but its not that big a deal
basics-
"D"- any vehicle over 22,000lbs GVW
"A" - is required to operate any towed vehicle over 10,000lbs
a "Z" endorsment for anything with air brakes
We in Ontario have graduated Licences.......once 16 you can write "G1" written test. After that you can drive with a fully licenced person beside you for a year
Then you go for your "G2" drivin test, after you must drive without drinkin, 0% in your system for a year
Then you my go for your "G" Fully 4wheeler licence
only after gettin you fully G can you go for you "A"/"AZ"
my driving test for my "AZ" was a 2 hour test
1/2 hr circle, 1 1/2hrs driving -
I have often said that your government should allow PQ to become their own independent nation. Why in the world does the federal government allow those arrogant people to fly the fluer d' lis instead of the maple leaf is beyond me?
But then what's left of Canada should put a 20 meter (metre....I can spell it right eh...lol) high solid fence with no light showing through buried 5 meters/metres deep (so they couldn't dig under) steel fence that won't rust with concertina wire on top around that new nation, and require exit visas to leave there. That way the whatever name country could eliminate their language police and not be required to worry about signs in English being smaller that the French signs.
Did you know that in PQ, subjects must receive permission from the Province to send their kids to an English speaking school?
But here's the down side of that...........
Canada would be split into 2 different locations. This could cause the Maritime Provinces to petition the USA for statehood reducing the size of Canada. Then you'd have the United States & Provinces of North America, Canada, and France Jr/Louis IVville. Would Canada then petition the US&PNA for statehood as well?Last edited: Dec 24, 2008

Thanks, I couldn't for the life of me remember where it is on the map.

The Eskimos must have had some serious pull in PQ City.
But I shouldn't say much. We had a Vice Presidential candidate that looks half Innuet [sic] that has a pregnant unwed daughter whose potential/future Mother-In-Law was just busted for big time drug sales. I wonder if she'll try to get the charges dropped through the AK State Police, and/or fire the people that refuse to do so? .........and she can see Russia from her front door!!!!!!!!!!Last edited: Dec 24, 2008
