Millis OTR journal

It was in Cleveland. Tightest dock area I've ever seen. I was positive that I was going to bend a cab extender, can't believe I didn't. Although, that side was already damaged when I got the truck.

 

Jesus dude... You had to run that mess in the snow??? Well, comparatively speaking, I'm doing very well thanks. I woke up this morning dreading the tasks ahead of me. I have to drudge through receipts and files and emails to prepare for my visit to the accountant. I have to prepare financial statements for the bank that is potentially financing the truck I have on hold. I have to continue studying for my hazmat endorsement so that I can take the test on Tuesday. It's a lot to do in a very small amount of time. However, I will now do all that with a smile on my face, because I didn't have to do what you just did. Compared to THAT, my day is looking pretty good. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, and I'm glad you made it through safely. I need to remind myself from time to time that no matter how miserable my day is, someone has it much worse. Cheers, man.

 

I believe you're right, I've been told the same thing by other folks. But, I'm nervous about everything these days. Kinda can't help it since I'm so close to the finish line. I guess I'll find out soon
