How long before it gets better!!!

Our regional paper had ONE ad yesterday..in the help wanted section.

Learn To Drive a Big Truck, and drive for..... Werner.

But we have lots of jobs. If you're willing to do the dirty work of applying.

The typical Tuesday paper is thin, maybe 4 or 5 sections with 6-10 pages each. There weren't 20 pages in the entire paper yesterday.

I think they've found the "slow economy" they've been looking for so long.

 

Last weeks local paper only had one ad,..out side of nursing jobs,..And that was the "used food hauler" job I applied for...And so did probably 100 of so others,....I'll have to keep my fingers crossed...

 

Hey...those jobs pay pretty good around here. Ranging from $14 an hour to $18 an hour.

But man the hours suck.

 

I'll take it if I get it,.....Yup lot's of hours,.....probably 70 or 80 a week,...But at least it's time and a half after 40........Like I said,...I'm keeping my fingers crossed...
