Wackiin...I talked with a recuiter the other day, I have already been approved for the l/p but had a few questions, i wanted to know about truck availability and she told me if there wasn't a truck on the yard that i wanted i could be a company driver until one comes available. Does that sound right? Also are the trucks single or double bunk? thanks alot. Also if possible shoot me a email, its the same user name as here at yahoo.

Hi I emailed yea this is my new name I changed it to my cb handle.
They have few trucks on the yard I was lucky and got a 09 the day I was out of class .
It may not happen like that though but if your going to be a lease they will give you a used truck todo a short term lease normally your new truckwill be in within 30 days.
You can also go company but they prefer you todo lease if your going to lease.
They are double bunk t660 and t600 kw's nice trucks I can shoot you more pics of mine to your email if you want.
btw to you other guys will be getting paid tommorow and posting details about payment, deductions etc.

ah ok np you get alot of spam on this forum?
-
That's putting it mildly! Yes, we do have problems with spammers.

If you think spammers are a problem, lease a truck from any company! Unless you find a mentor to share his wealth of knowledge regarding the nuances of running a business, you'll last one or two months - broke. Two lessee's to TransAm showed me their spreadsheets, and indeed, they did earn a buck thirty-five to one-fifty, but the net... ...I was guess from a quick glance, maybe in the high eigthies, maybe low ninties.
Drive a company truck for a while - a year or two. In the meantime, ask questions, and a lot of them.pinballwizard and Lilbit Thank this. -
You should know that unless you plan to go lease, you will be sitting at least another week after you pass all your tests. This company REALLY wants you to lease since all the truck costs will be yours and not theirs. Since I wouldn't lease, had to wait another 6 days myself.
Truck I am currently in, lease is up and have been sitting here since xmas eve waiting for another truck.
Like I said THEY REALLY WANT YOU TO LEASE!!!! -
That is a very open ended question. Just what would you like to know about how they log?
