Driver facing cameras to me is a absolute end game. Im out of there. If you are going to be eyeing my ugly mug all day, at least have a dispatcher facing camera so I can do the same. Fairs fair.
If a company is that bad off and cannot truly trust a driver and have to video monitor that same all the time then it's too much big brother for me. Im out of here. I don't even hire on to any company with that technology period. It is a total all stop do not pass go on my part.
I have said this over and over. It's a no go. A company like walmart with the billions going through their fingers a mil or two putting a thousand dollar camera into each truck and paying the video feed back... it's chump change. Prices will be what is literally conceded by those who manufactor the product in Fayetteville AR. There are rooms where people argue with those who want to produce something to sell inside walmart stores. The arguement is over pricing. If i have a egg to produce and sell at 5.00 each, walmart will argue me down to 1.50 a carton of 12. Even if it is a farbarge egg. If I am so weak as to give in and allow walmart to sell those eggs at 1.50 a carton to my losses, I don't deserve to do business with such a cut through corporation.
low prices my foot. Look at the docks when they hatch a comcheck out of your wallet for unloading your 24 pallets in 15 minutes for $300 dollars. That is where they get the low prices among other ways.

The forward facing camera catches the reflexion of the interior on your windshield, at night they can see if you hold your phone, during daytime it depends on the angle of the daylight coming through.

To honor what they say. Sure.
No one has ever guaranteed that they will not switch to having driver facing. They have in fact said that for now they are not going to use them but reserve the option to revisit them later.
Jim N has always admitted if it was his call they would have been both cameras two years ago.
Bailey, and Murphy have both said they wish we had them.
So yeah they are being honest in their statements. If they turn them on they will tell you, and they will modify the policy to make anyone covering them accountable.Last edited by a moderator: Mar 12, 2018
