Who do you drive for? What’s your take home ... is it percentage or cents per mile?

 

That’s a low paying

I don’t understand how drivers with experience are driving for .40 and .42 cpm just to stay away from the East Coast when you can make .55 to .65 cpm running all 48 NO NYC and still run West and Midwest freight. Why drive for miles? DRIVE FOR THE MONEY!

 

Took a pay cut to run the southwest..finally happy.
40 cpm and 3000 miles every week.

 

$1200 gross
$125 advance
Taxes $200
Actual check $850

 

Monthly mileage bonus check is ,$400 and they do it in a separate check so your not taxed crazily.
Then you have the quarterly safety and fuel bonus.

I don't drive for the money. I drive strictly for the love of trucking.

3000 miles every week.
No sitting.
I do 2 1500+ mile runs each week maximum 4 live loads each week...but..
Lots of drop and hook.
Lots of car part loads weighing 25k.
Rarely get a 45,k load.
$1200+ gross every week.

Not bad. I’m currently on a team outfit grossing 1500 a week salary. Kinda eyeballed DHT since I live in TN. I did get disappointed in them advertising company drivers only making 50k though lol. Never knew how true that was.

So is someone able to get a similar run to yours right off the bat?
