You know the plastic wrap on skids? Like boat wrap?

Yeah hands and knees, center of the load stay away from edges once you mix in some snow. #### sucking stuff gets good and slippery once you add the snow. Like a greased pig

Picked up a load of Dow extruded foam insulation in Peveley Missouri on Wednesday headed over to a joke of a receiver in Indianapolis. They place the smoke tarp on the front, which I think is a joke seeing that my truck is a grass burner 20180314_135421.jpg

The smoke tarp is to protect it from wind damage.

If that was the case then why require guys going over 900 miles to use a full tarp? The wind forces over 900 miles is no difference than the wind forces at 350 miles.

Sustained force over time. Or some idiot driver never retightened his straps and lost a load. Or something else I'm not thinking of. There is a reason or they wouldnt be willing to pay for a full tarp. Either way if you didn't smoke tarp that the front edge would be torn to bits. A lot of turbulence created between the tractor and load.

Pain in the butt load. Stop 15 times to tighten up straps because if you over do it it will crush them. Do your best to cross strap the rear as the wind will push it right off the back of the trailer.
Twist all straps or listen to everyone say on the radio "your straps are loose" because thats the way the wind will blow a flat strap.
