I just purchased a BIG TEX trailer. It is a 22GN-35BK+5MR. The trailer has a GVWR of 23,900 lbs.

Does this require a Class A or Class B CDL to pull the trailer?

The number of axles doesn't matter, vehicle class goes by weight. You will need a Class A to tow it.

Can I ask why you would buy a trailer without knowing what you need to make it legal?

B is for box vans. Any trailer over 12k requires an A.
