But how was the treatment in comparison to Heyl and Shaffer? We have been leaning towards Heyl, mostly because I think it’s a smaller company, even though we would take a pay cut. Keep in mind, we have 0 expenses outside of a car note/insurance and a cellphone bill. I’ve ran the numbers with Shaffer vs Heyl, and Shaffer hands down made more money. But now I’m kind of concerned about treatment and equipment, because we can afford the 10k pay cut because most of our income goes into savings. Not having an APU is a giant turn off lol. We also would only stay long enough to get 2 years of experience, and then probably move on to a better paying small company.

Treatment was fine @ Heyl. Decent @ Shaffer and Crete. For me the 10k difference was the issue.

If it came down to treatment and quality of life, rather than money, who would you choose? -
Where do y'all live? Heyl is very limited on where they hire from.

I think Sarah is at their headquarters in Iowa. Marv was just handling coordinating orientation in Florida.

Heyl is a great company for me. I have been here for 5 years now. I am on the tropicana fleet in bradenton and on salary. I was otr for 2 years towards the begining and have nothing negative to say. I made good money and consistant 2500 plus miles per week.
Maverick Griff Thanks this.
