I get it. I’m not worth less.. that’s why I asked about negotiating pay. Or any other question. My family comes first.... Just trying to be informed enough to make a rational decision.

What is the break down on the rest of the pay aside from miles. Can you make 3-500 in all the other component pay? Drop, hook, layovers etc.

I made a post in another thread about what I called the (Walmart Factor) depressing wages. I still stand by that comment. I don't care what Walmart says today. I also don't care if every Walmart DC in America is hiring drivers. The fact remains (using made up numbers) if it costs Walmart 10 million bucks to operate a fleet out of a DC and Swift, JB Hunt or another carrier comes along and says we can do it for less Walmart has shareholders and the company bottom line to worry about. Their eventually going to accept those terms and start downsizing. I would hate to be working as a recent hire at that DC. These dedicated accounts are a savage cut throat business. It is not just at the Walmart DCs. A lot of good money can be made working these accounts. I know many drivers doing so today. However be aware though that these accounts come up for renewal from time to time. I have seen what happens when a carrier comes in with a butcher knife and start the throat cutting it is NOT pretty. Just beware!

Walmart’s pay is confidential, anyone who posts takes a chance at losing their job. If you want to find out, go through the process of being hired on first then you’ll know.

Understood. I’m not asking for specific rates. Just an average weekly low ball figure.
