Ah!!! I could see that. ####!

It was a local cop.
-
Is that a high ticket area?
-
No inspection report was given, I am with a mega carrier.

You should tell them ASAP, that way they can’t ask why you didn’t tell them sooner when they see it on their own or you wait until after you pay the fine to tell them.
-
Not that I know of but it's a comparatively light area for trucks. I hang in the outer lanes sometimes where it's heavy but always dive inside when it starts to thin out.

Yes.ALWAYS GET A LAWYER..PAY A LITTLE MORE TO THE COURT...and get it Reduced. Its teally ""All about the money". Faulty speedometer. While yours wasnt Speeding.More money thrown at it never hurts your Record anyway.Protect that CDL .JMOBoxCarKidd and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Which mega? We'll notify them.
You should tell the carrier immediately. They might have some advice with how to beat it, if they are a mega, you're probably not the first guy to get one like that. -
Until you are found guilty or fined. Don't tell them anything instead join (www.driverslegalplan.com) for $20 a mo. Pay them a one time $100 lawyer retainer fee. Write them out a detailed description of how the ticket occurred send it to them and forget it. Drivers Legal has a 90%+ success rate of getting tickets dropped or at least making sure they don't go against your license. I've used them for yrs. Have only had to use them three times. But they got all three situations dropped. $20 well spent ! Good luckeburnett24 Thanks this.
