this would be my estimate
$25000
minus 850 for every year of age
minus 1200 for tires
minus 400 for brakes in the future
minus 750 to replace upper fifth
minus 300 to install toolboxLast edited: Mar 19, 2018
BUMBACLADWAR, Dave_in_AZ and DSK333 Thank this. -
You would pay $9,000 for that trailer? Does the king pin plate/upper fifth wheel look bad to you? $1,200 for tires? Where do you get tires so cheap?snowman_w900 Thanks this.

Would not touch that trailer. Too beat.
Been worked hard and put away rusted.
My guess, a former company unit. They got rid of it because it was about to cost some money for repairs.BUMBACLADWAR, whoopNride, Dave_in_AZ and 3 others Thank this. -
Definitely under $10k
Trailer depreciation= 20% the first year and 10% very year after. New ones specced just like that can be had for $25-/+ k plus fet youre under $30k yet.
Sandblast n paint $2/2,500, tires, boxes, whatever else you see after you pull it a month.
Not to be a hater: everybody starts somewhere; I wouldn't buy that trailer for much at all. I overpaid for my first trailer bc I thought I needed a all aluminum flatbed w a spread axle to be competitive.
It doesn't seem like a bad place to start, but get into it cheap so the immediate expenses like tires don't eat you up the first couple weeks.Oxbow, whoopNride, peterbilt_2005 and 6 others Thank this.
