No not really. Phone use is allowed but strictly blue tooth only. No handling the phone and definitely no texting. As far as drinking coffee or eating your salty dog from the roller at your local Pilot, just keep your eyes on the road and continue to pay attention to what is going on. Do not get distracted by it.

It kind of sounds worse than it is. While it can be used to jam you up (think non blue tooth phone use and for sure texting), it is mostly used to look for patterns of constantly doing unsafe things and to coach you to change your behavior.

 

It really all depends on the company. There are companies out there that you will get in trouble for eating etc while driving. Thankfully Millis isnt one of them, but its definitely something to find out before you go to work for someone with cameras.

Yes my comments were based on Millis and my experience with them.

 

Mine is a 2016 and it does it at 1.8 if you don’t increase the distance within a couple of seconds

 

My 2015 was 1.8 seconds too.

 

Pulling out of my 2nd favorite hole in the wall truck stop for the last time. Gonna miss this place

 

Most of the time it stops working like yours. Twice it has jammed on the brakes. Scary to say the least.
