I’m thinking your phone is a pre pay phone and not a contract.
Is this true? -
Absolutely
-
You are correct
-
Check with your carrier and ask if your particular phone is hot spotable.
It might not be because it is a prepay and not monthly.
A lot of pre pay phones are bare bones but not all. -
Hotspot From phone or portibale device with a STRAIGHT TALK account is not the way to go.
The most you can get is 7gs for $75 at straight talk.
On a Verizon data only plan you can get 12gs for 70 -
Get a decent phone and good data plan. Entertaining yourself on YouTube or Netflix is a way to stay sane. Also Spotify or Pandora can provide music. I could not do OTR without all those. It’s worth paying more.
Hulld and driverdriver Thank this. -
Satellite radio is also quite nice.IluvCATS Thanks this.
-
I cannot give an opinion. But many people use it. If it’s cheaper than using data and pandora and iHeartRadio, etc. it could be a great option.
-
I have had it for years and love it while driving.
But when I’m on my ten it’s my phone hot spot and my iPad.IluvCATS Thanks this.
