I'm good to my word sir. But since I did miss it how about I call up to Black River tomorrow and wire them some dough to toss on your ComData card, then you can use it to get a lot lizard when the notion hits ya.

Figure at the going rate I can send oh probably.... I dunno, 14 bucks ought to cover it, that way you'll still have enough left over for a roller dog after.

Sounds great, if I lay on the charm and the “belated birthday” angle I might can swing it for $12 and get a drink with that dog!! :)

I almost shot for Gary but traffic was horrible and my clock was low so I decided to spend my birthday evening in Oak Creek rather than risk it and not make it to Gary. :)

    :D

You made the right call, took me F'n forever to get back to Chicago. Almost 3 hours from Richfield.

Technically I seem to remember it's 1 and a half days off for every 7 out. Reality was (at least on my end) that if you were getting your job done while you were out you got home whenever you needed for as much as you needed. I was generally out 6-9 weeks and home for a week.

Never once did I put a home time request in and have it questioned in any way for any reason at all. Actually got the opposite around Christmas, Opie got ahold of me 3 days before Christmas to make sure I hadn't forgot to put a home time request in for the holiday. I was staying out for it but if I had said Crap, I forgot man, he would have gotten me home just the same even with the short notice.

Yup. Do your job safely and on time while you are out, and nothing will be said if you want to take a lil extra time off. Last Sept I was moving, took 10 days off with no questions asked, and my truck sat in my drive the entire time. No turning your truck in if your off for so many days like some companies. Oh and I'd only been out for 2.5 wks before those 10 days off. Hometime is never a problem here.

Good luck in your new adventure @Suspect Zero . Glad I got to meet ya a couple times.

Hahaha,,,, sometimes it takes a fight between brothers to make them even more closely knit. We're hard headed, that's what makes us family.
