I drove around the back side the other day from Altus to Carnegie. Looks like the lake is holding up good considering our lack of rain.

And if ride the paddle boats, we need pics of that fer sure. Lol.

 

IF y’all is ever around Shattuck OK and hungry, you need to try this little joint next door to the Venture grocery store. Looks are deceiving here. I know it’s in a storage shed. But it’s clean inside and it’s some dang good Mexican food made by real Mexicans, and you better believe that’s a compliment.





That $6 breakfast burrito is almost as big as my forearm. Lol.

I just saw that white red n blue volvo with the 7 axle flatbed that was mentioned somewhere on here the other day. Sharp looking wagon.

 

Can't even make it 1000 miles before she starts acting naughty...

Service Advised light on the dash. They should start paying me by the hour to put up with this bs.

Been a busy 24 hours SAR, we had 10 or 11 inches yesterday into early this Morning

March has been unexpectedly busy with 3 Storms....February wasn't very busy so these Storms are making up for it

 

Not a drop of Snow on the Ground....did WV relocate to the Tropics??

 

Yeah, the lake looked real good, not too low and really clear too. Didn't have time for the paddle boats or I would have done pics.

We had supper Wed in Blair at the Backdoor Steakhouse:

The wife had Catfish, said it was the best she'd ever had. My son had some kind of Burger, he loved it, I had a Sirloin, I've had better but it was Ok. Can't beat the atmosphere though.

When we left this morning we went to Mangum to see the wife's BIL who is in a nursing home there, her sis passed away back in '95 but we still keep up with ol Benny. Hopefully we can make it back out Mangum for the Rattlesnake Derby next month.

We took hwy 9 all the way across to Riverwind, I love that drive across there, the only thing that would have made it better would have been if it was at night, love those wide open spaces.
