I know this is a 7 year old forum. Anyway, no, they shouldn't be a certain height to drive a big rig. I'm 6'3 is that enough? I think is. Glad I have a good size bed due to my height. Maybe, at 5'8 is the best but at any height you can drive. Don't worry what height you are.

I know this is an old forum. I'm 6'8ft. Shouldn't be height restrictions. My mom is 5'1ft and she truck driving out in the world. So no, if there is a height restrictions well that's a son of a ####ing #####!! Dumb ### being mean to short people. Doesn't matter what height you are. Just adjust your seat where you can reach the clutch pedal, gas, and break pedal. Then you should be good to go. If you hear mean people to short people beat their ####ing ### to see who's the bad guy. I mean I'm just saying.

I don't care if you are 3 feet tall. If you can reach the pedals and depress them fully as well as be able to see out the windshield you can be a trucker. I know a guy that gives driving tests. He looks for this. Have a problem reaching the pedals and fully depressing them he will not test you.

When I got my first real otr job driving a real truck I got asked probably once a month how I could operate the w900L I drove. I am 5'6". Not tall but not real short either. I wonder what goes through these people's heads. Because a truck is much bigger than a car, it must need an 8' tall human to operate it..? Can you imagine how tall the people are that operate jumbo jets? F.ers must be on the order of 15'. Seems logical.

I think you'll be fine as long as you're under 13'6" except the northeast and Chicago-type areas. Bet you think I didn't read it. I'm motorboatin':downtown:

Well I'm 5'6 and I don't have any issues. Imo humans any taller than 5'10 are just wasted space lol. Lean, mean and agile baby. I ride with the seat all the way down for comfort and have no visibility issues
