Nobody seems to know what a tow strap or a recovery strap is. Local heavy truck parts shop didn't know, neither did a local towing supply place. Saw some nice ones at US Cargo Control, anyone dealt with them?

Hell, no need for that. Be glad at how good that looks.

Gonna be cold looks like, gonna tough it though. Gotta drop my motorcycle trailer at my step daughter's place close to Shelbyville then head on down.
Sharp show trucks — and a blanket of snow — descend on Mid-America show in Louisville -
Happy Birthday to the kiddies.

@TripleSix
My old man asked me to ease up on the handshake.
We, you and I, agree on a good handshake is a man putting his best foot forward. Now, don't turn it into a dick measuring contest, yes. Man up, squeeze, shake, let go. Don't limp fist it, no half hearted grab at the fingers, hand to hand and shake. You either have it or you don't. It's not a contest to win.
However, with that said, when the man in your life you respect the most asks you to take it easy, it's a tough pill to swallow. Out of respect I follow orders.
The only way I can look at it that makes sense, is he's been a pillar as a man for 50-60 years, it's ok to let him step out of the lime light so to speak. He has nothing left to prove and perhaps is letting the reins fall to the next generation of man.
I have a very good friend who is 75 this year. I have never tried to power squeeze him on a handshake. I go out of my way to enjoy his company now while I can. I've heard the same stories many times but it's just an old man reliving his best days. To me, the time spent with him is priceless. Without me, who would listen to an old man ramble about his glory days? -
Sorry @ShooterK2 I couldn't figure out pics in the PM thing.

In Alexandria, MN for the night. No pics today was in a hurry. Going to get some tomorrow back at the yard I guess. Just imagine the loads I've been pulling the past couple weeks out of Chicago and Harrow, and you'll get the idea. 21 footers, single tarp.
Except this time on a tandem and I loaded it 100lbs too heavy in the back so I had to open the split. They sure don't like to back up at an angle, lol.
