Also went through the rear end and replaced all the brake parts, as well as axle seals.

 

Even have a Oldskool air jack to work on old stuff !

 

Had no clue the 13th Warrior is one of your favorite movies! It was a box office bomb, apparently, but I thought it was fantastic beginning to end. It's one of the few movies I actually have in the truck. The book is great as well -- if you're into that sort of thing, Six.

Said eff you to Laredo. Truck is still having issues. But I got a 2000 mile run for Monday / Tuesday. Not gonna let that go to waste on one of our many B rated drivers sitting in Laredo telling truck stop tales. #### that.

Delivering on Long Island Tuesday... not far from good ole Ruthless territory

 

I bought it in '88 between my sophomore and junior year in high school. It had already been repainted by then. It did shine up better back then. I do have all the pieces to put it back together. My plan is a frame off restoration back to as original as I can.
50 mph was comfortable, 55-60 wasn't horrible, anything more was painful to listen too. My grandpa gave me a set of 9.50-16.5's I put on the front to lower it down a bit. He also built the side boards for my birthday my junior year.
If that old pickup could talk, man the stories it would tell.

 

I'm a ford guy through and through, but when it comes to the old stuff, it's all cool. I'd drive any of it. I'd like to build a hot rod of some sort. I just haven't come up with anything everybody else doesn't already have.

Drove several cabover's in my abbreviated trucking career compared to most of you guys, all International's, and swore I'd never get in another one but I'd drive that KW cabover anywhere anytime, that thing is sweet.

 

Had a 4070 like that one. Loved that truck back then. Even had Dayton wheels on the drives like that.
