What brand is it? And hydraulic or mechanical neck?

 

I think that more important than the lowboy itself is experience, or at least a familiarity in running the equipment that you will be hauling.

That is quite an offer!

 

How are you at operating heavy machinery? Will you be comfortable loading and unloading by yourself?
Will the machinery be live, as in running? Or dead, as in figuring out a way to drag or tow or lift it onto the trailer?
Will the company be taking care of permits or will that be up to you? If you're doing the permitting and running in more than one state you'll have a lot to learn.
Heavy haul is a different world. It can be interesting but it's not very tolerant of mistakes.

Raise it up, throw your ride doors, put it on the ground, pull your lines, pop the pin, support your neck, and drive ahead.

Drop your pin, back it in gently till it locks, you may have to adjust a little, reconnect your lines, raise your support, raise it up, shut your ride doors then drop the neck on the doors.

That's how you dethatch and attach a lowboy. How you "run" one there's a whole lot more than I can type in a forum post in one night.
