How serious are these cracked welds?

    Keep an eye on it. If your worried about getting shutdown paint a thick coat of paint on it.

    Me, I would have fixed ASAP, looks like separation on that top photo. Not worried about DOT, I would be concerned about something letting lose and killing me or someone else.

    That’s a quick fix for a welder. Get it done. Dig in the reserve account. It’s there for a reason.

    Here we go, doom and gloom I’m going to kill someone...

    All I was wondering is if it’s bad enough to be an immediate concern, and it sounds like it is. I’ll have to drag the tools out this week and patch it up.

    I’ll fix it, or have it fixed if I cannot. I will admit I’m totally new to aluminum flatbeds, so it’s just my inexperience to not know. For a 28 year old trailer I’m surprised that’s all that’s cracked.
