Thanks for reminding me, I need to call around for insurance this week. Yeah, I have the insurance here. It's alright, I guess. It's pretty much just fit for high cost emergencies, because the deductible is really high. If I had it to do all over again, I would've gotten private insurance.

 

Did something today that I haven't done in a long time. Pushed hard as hell to make it to this truck stop. Did a quick post-trip on the Qualcomm and had 3 minutes left on my 70. Squeaked that one out

 

The day will come when you love getting a Menards load. Nice simple runs, spacious finals, friendly people. I'm gonna miss those runs. I love that company. I actually tried to get an O/O job with them. The guy I talked to was pretty excited because I wanted OTR. They only have a handful (literally) of guys that do OTR. It woulda been fairly decent pay, too. But, I don't live close enough to a DC

 

I can't tell you what's good for you, only what's good for me.

 

Best thing you can do is get info from recruiting and compare it to other policies. It is important that you know this: every person here is different. Life, taxes, situation, etc. What applies to me may not apply to you. Everyone here will happily answer questions, but none of the answers are gospel.

That's why I don't hand out advice for that stuff. I can't give you advice on pay plans, insurance, etc because my feet don't fit in your shoes
