You know, that could be a way to help end the recession and save the deficit. We bought California from Mexico and Alaska from Russia. We could sell them back to Mexico and Russia and disperse all the billions of dollars made off the deal to the rest of us LEGAL Americans to help everyone pay their bills and go buy "stuff" to help jump start to economy!

I'm gonna email the Messiah in a minute and see if he'll go for it when he takes office! :biggrin_2553:

OK, I can see California. But Alaska? And Hawaii? Why????

At least let me get a chance to SEE Alaska first hand, before it is sold. Please???:biggrin_25525:

    Get angry at 4-wheelers????

Why should we get angry when 4-wheelers:

    • Take away our "safety cushion"
    • Cut us off and then slam the brakes
    • Shoot over from the #1 lane to get to the off-ramp
    • Throw bottles at slow moving rigs going up slowly on a grade or going down slowly and safely on the downgrades
    • Drive like little old ladies in the snow and skid-out in front of rig that's moving at a safe speed causing said rig to stop, then lose traction to take-off and then throw some iron on to get away from the spun out 4-wheelers
    No anger issues here...
Just another day on the road.
Any day that I can make it home or to a truck stop in one piece despite it all, is a good day.

Alaska was purchased for $7 million. 2 cents an acre. It has an annual GNP of $39 billion. I'd say we got our money's worth on that deal.

RVers have far more places to park. Shopping centers, Malls, Walmarts and even the local LYING-HOOK has a place set aside for their "Preferred Customers".
