Well GrapeApe removed some screws like you mentioned and it was the cover for the heater core and nothing else so back to square one.

Not that cover, below that there should be a duct, maybe yours is already missing? If so, where the air blows out of the main case is close to where that flapper is. If you can't fit your hand through it to feel it, maybe a mirror to see if it moves?

    SAR Thanks this.

That's the only cover there. When I took that cover off the floor duct came off with it,felt around for the floor vents or doors but there wasn't anything there.

That's the duct, it's above the cover, not below (sorry, it's been a long time). Those 2 screws should take that duct off, then there is a hole the the area of the X (a little left of that I think) that you can get in to feel/see the door flap.

If it's not there, that could be your problem. It may have broke and fell down in the heater case.

Well GrapeApe your the man did what you said and the actuator wasn't fully moving to close the door. Sprayed with WD 40 move the door and actuator with my hand and defrost knob quite a few times and all is working pretty good now, left the heater duct off for now to make sure it doesn't hang up again. Thanks brother really appreciate it.:biggrin_25514:

Good deal. It sometimes helps to pull the air lines off those actuators and give them a little squirt of air tool oil.
