Trust me, I wish I was out there with you guys. Spent the last 13 hours hours carting around my great Aunt to doctor appts and whatnot then had to deal with my replacing my mother's dead computer and explaining all the joys of a new operating system.

Can you say murder/suicide?

That does suck, there works look happy most of the time. So I picked up a paper load from Cherokee, AL that went to Garland, TX and let me tell you US Foods is a #### hole lmao. The parking was tight, the lumper took his time bleh, so after we where done they sent us to Ft. Worth to the Miller Brewery just to find out our load has already been taken lol. So after we found out about that they sent us to down town Dallas basically to a paper recycler and that load is going back to Cherokee, AL where we started lmao. Got to love days like these!

 

Understand you to the T man. Had a lotta hard times in life but to lay down Mama and Daddy was the hardest. You'll be back out here my friend. Do what ya gotta do then get back out with your brothers. I'll be faithfully waiting, ######.

 

Tonight is a nice unusual one for me, have a 4 stop John Deere load, one in Ohio, 2 in VA & Final in MD...you may ask where is the nice part? LOL, well my first stop is a HUGE John Deere dealership with plenty of room to park overnight and be ready to unload at 0700 without starting the clock, and the bonus is the Applebee’s across the street where I sit as I type this waiting on my bourbon street chicken and blackened shrimp to be delivered to my table by Shelby, my very attractive and very nice waitress
Yep, I love an unexpected night like tonight!

 

God I hate lumper s but what ya gonna do? Fingerprint the thing yerself? Heavens no!!!! Hahahh

 

I was half tempted to ask if I could use there lift and do it myself. Since prior to truck driving I was a fork lift driver on the receiving side of things lol.

 

Food places can be the WORST, my trainer was on the dock 5.5hrs in FL, they said he had to leave the property since he was unloaded, he asked if he could pull in the 20 space Staging area that only had 2 trucks in it to finish his 10 & they refused him, he pulled on the road and finished in the turn lane... pathetic when places treat us that way!
