SingingWolf Thanks this. -
I heat mine up though with cheese and onions on top, threw in some Fritos corn chips as well - -
You're in a good place. You'll be fine.
Now that you know you'll have no problem getting a job, get crackin on the rest of the stuff. And, yeah, get all of your endorsements, this site has enough practice tests that you can take, 3 times daily until you can pass them without error, to help you along. It's what I did anyway and I brezed through them all.austinmike Thanks this. -

I'd give schlumberger a real hard look. The oilfields are ramping back up again. I didn't work for schlumberger directly, my company was contracted to haul and unload their bulk cement from yard to the silo's at the rig.
Being on a cement crew you'll be on location way more than driving and a lot of that time you'll be sleeping and still on the clock getting paid. Starting pay is 16-18 hr, some will say its low and I would agree but that's not including job bonus' (after every job you catch you get a bonus somewhere around 100-125 for a new guy) easy to do 4-5 jobs a week. Per-diem extra 2$ a hr kicks in soon as you leave yard
A 70hr week on a cement crew is what we called a slow week. Hoping from rig to rig its easy to rack up 100+hr a week. Add in all the extras and that's some serious coin.
15-6 schedule, good luck getting a schedule like that anywhere else. If I was in your shoes that's what id be doing. When the next bust happens take nice long vacation or go pull general freight
