Pretty sure we did 80mph from Fort Smith to Tulsa... dropped my POS at the Cummins dealership and the fella was nice enough to give me a lift around the corner to the terminal. Nice guy. Ran paper the whole way... had a 40 mile drive back to the house so I let him get home for the night. Just a guy with a can-do attitude. Man did 850 miles today rescuing me, couldn't thank him enough really.

Hotel. I've been up since 5am eastern time. It's midnight in Tulsa. I'm passing the hell out.

    Y'all stay safe out there.

7-UP, sawmill, 1951 ford and 12 others Thank this.

Well it does take more than removing the govenor to make a large car.

A wise man once said that.

The 550 Cummins not knockin it but nothing about it has that large car whistle. That feeling of the frame lifting when you roll into the throttle. I will agree though compared to what your used to it be a beast

Pipe 40, TripleSix, 7-UP and 16 others Thank this.

IMG_0120.PNG Neutered my pump a little, still rolls coal if you kick it in the britches. 42,000 on I had to drop out of OD 3 times, shoved it up against the dash once between Huntington and Akron. Heading to just north of Pittsburgh here in just a few, empty up and heavy back. I-79 creates a LOT more challenges than 77;). Today will give me a good idea what I need to tune towards. With the new bigger injectors it runs smooth as silk, no Injector knock of the mornings, big plus there! Y'all stay safe out there.
