I do not drive but have read thread after thread on JCT and USX. Stay away from USX. The miles will be down whereas with JCT you'll do fine.

I'm sorry, I should have mention that the payment I quoted included all costs, insurance, qualcom, health insurance for me and my wife , escrow account for maintainence,etc.....It will drop $131.00 after the side note, and performance bond is paid. So my truck payment is around $500.00 for a 2007 Freightliner Classic XL with 200K warranty left as of today. And my lease has 3.5 years. And I can refuse loads if I don't want it, plus I got the truck that my wife wantedrickway65, andrew5184, ProPilot and 3 others Thank this.

lmb
How are the trucks speced
Like your classic
What's your mpg in the classic
So your total fixed costs are around 800 to 850 not counting fuel correct -
If you are asking speed, mine runs 75
MPG depending on weight between 5.8 and 6.7
Correct on the total cost not counting fuel -
then 131 drops off after
side note ( what's that)?
Preformance bonus ( I know what that is but how much)?
Truck spec = like gauges interior etc
Apu y or n
Does apu have shore power ? Plug in for microwave etc
Thanks again
Oh
What kind of miles u figure to get solo before u go full team with your wife
Thanks -
Thanks for the info LBM. Please keep the info coming, a couple of us will be starting orientation in mid January and could use all the info we can get. I myself was debating back and forth between USX and JCT but LandShark makes a good point on which way the threads point and he seems to have completed his homework so like him I'm going to start with JCT on the 26th. LMB what kind of miles are they giving you now? And in your option what will the average driver take-home after normal deductions and monies put away for taxes?
-
Side note= down payment. Not all leases have them
Performance bonus=$25.00 per wek for 40 weeks
Truck specs on JCT web site
APU yes
AC power plug yes
miles=pretty much all you wantMortar Man Thanks this. -
LandShark keep in touch when you start and let me know how things look when you get to the terminal on the 19th and how things are looking through orientation thats if you still have internet access...
-
I like what I hear
Are they pretty easy going as far as dispatch
Hometime etc -
MPG....Ouch!
Have a KW W900 than can get 7 mpg in the mountains...trust me she flat out runs pass your magical 75 and I can still beat you mpg, but then again I spec my rig.
Sorry kids haven't seen a fleece program I've ever been happy with. Helped more than one driver who has been in a fleece program. If you really think it's benefiting you then push hasn't come to shove yet....
But if you're happy....then so be it but if fuel rises back up to $4 something a gallon let me know how it goes.
vonbones167 Thanks this.
