What if he hits the ejector seat switch first?

I would assume that he would end with a rather large bump on his head...

There's a switch on the dash, and you may have a 4th pedal, real small one, all the way to the left of the footwell.

You have to have the switch on, and then depress that pedal when you want to activate it.

    My Columbia is a 2005 with CATC15.

The engine brake has 2 switches on the dash. One is a button that is either on,.. or off. The other is a switch that goes up or down.

The process to make it work goes like this. Get to the speed you want,.. on the top row of buttons,.. the second from the left switch,.. flip it up to turn on. Then the first switch on the left,.. press it down to set. Cruise should now be on. If you hit the brake or clutch, cruise should turn off. You can take the first button and press it up to resume cruise,.. flipping it up will also increase the speed of cruise.

Bare in mind,.. as long as the second button is in the on position,.. regardless of whether cruise is set or not,.. the jake will not come on unless you hit the brake pedal. Turn the cruise button off and jake will function normally.

The switch for the jake is on the top row,.. second from the right. It (Should) have 3 positions. Up for high, middle for off,.. and down for low. Thats how it is in my Columbia. It was the same in my carriers 2012 Coronado as well as his 2014 Cascadia. They all worked the same.

On every truck I drive for any length of time, I mount a engine brake on/off switch on the shifter. I find it really easy to turn it on and off with the switch mounted on the shifter.
