Just my 0.02 cents in this matter.
Carrier will never care about O/O expenses. Deadhead miles, time sitting to load/unload, gross weight, terrain you have to drive, toll roads. They value own time and money only.

I have been getting some pretty good rates from CHR. You cannot book ahead with them though, they will not pay unless they have to. I don't even call them trying to book ahead.

How carrier can go around the broker and get loads directly from customer ? :)
Or how can I make brokers love my company and give me good rates, or normal rates but the same load each time ( account)?
What do you really need from carrier to be happy and call that carrier before posting a load or call anybody else?

How do people manage to not do a 34 hour reset? I don't get how they can skip it. Someone please explain

If you have a brain you don't need a reset.

I'd imagine that this question might be more germane to discussion in the "Questions From New Drivers" thread, rather than @brokerguy's Ask Me Anything Forum in the Freight Broker Forum.

Not that many run over 2500 miles a week. Anything less than 3000 miles a week easily fits in 70 hours. 70 hours limit is the least of the problem...14 hours is.
