so I'm in the "Depot" the other day, needing a new drill case my kid liked mine better. What the hell, I get a new one out of this. Checking out all the big names, in yellow, green, red...ect. Guy in apron comes along and tells me about the warranty from Rigid...lifetime! oh yeah, I pay for shipping to them, but a lifetime warranty, and on the batteries, and charger as well! Comparable price to the other guys who had a 2-3 year warranty. guess I'll have to get some more tools from em.
surprised by Rigid tools lifetime warranty

You gonna have turkey for dinner tomorrow to? What’s that got to do with trucking?
Lol. Just kidding ya man- rigid does make good tools. My leaf blower is from them. 25 years old -
I've been looking at rigid too cause my buddy told me about the lifetime battery thing...didn't know it covered everything
-
Thank you for the chuckle...Dumdriver Thanks this.

Great info.....Thanks!
I'm in the market for some battery powered tools; I was actually looking for the best deal on the "Yellow Ones", but I'm'a swing by the Depot tomorrow. -
Rigid may have a Lifetime Battery Warranty but what happens is U return a Bad Battery to the Depot and they ship the Battery back to China to be replaced....3 to 4 Weeks til U see it again
Edit, take that back about Rigid, it was a Ryobi Screw GunLast edited: Mar 29, 2018

Never have enough batteries , buy a new one while its sent out. Now you have three instead of two.

This wasn't my Screw Gun, I only picked it up for a Sub Contractor of mine as a favor
I only buy the Extended Run Time Batteries that are Yellow and Black -
Just make sure you register the tool and keep the registration receipt, else they don't honor the warranty.

This is the most important thing to remember. Go to rigidtools.com OR call their 1-800 phone number. Just takes about a minute. Also, most Home Depots will replace the batteries if they're defective and you bring them in to a store and you are properly registered. Keep in mind, I'm saying MOST. If they don't, just ask to speak to the Manager On Duty.
