I enjoy working for the folks that run our company. Very easy going and down right fun to be around. If they'll keep me, I plan on retiring there.

Only gripes I have don't have anything to do with anything my boss can control.

I think this is what a lot of drivers, or for that matter employees of all kinds don't understand. Every job has some not so good things that just don't really have a solution.

It's sort of like the AA prayer: (paraphrased)
Lord, let me change the things that I can change,
Accept the things that I cannot change,
And give me the wisdom to know the difference.

RIGHT! Exactly my point! You know though, some whine but most have a legitimate ######. The worst part of it all is the fact that it seems to revolve around the same companies. Those that are listed on here for example. They are both discussed in the good and bad forum. The sad fact is that any time you see a company that has to advertise, for more than one or two drivers, there are going to be problems. And a lot of them. For any number of reasons. Pick one.

The fact is, most cheat their drivers, don't pay right, or don't live up to what was promised to you.

Only the drivers have the power to change that. Will they, I doubt it.

This sounds all too much like those "Gas-Out Day" chain emails that drop into my Outlook all too often. What gas you don't buy today, you either bought yesterday, or will buy tomorrow.
(The hour you "stop" today will have to be made up, either yesterday or tomorrow)

Hmmmm, so is considered whining if I'm a little upset about setting in a truck, in the terminal, because the lease on this truck is running out and I'm waiting for them to put me in another? Would have thought, that if this was a well run company, that a truck would have been here and waiting for me to swap into. Just curious

According to the leading experts of the industry. You are a whiner, and should be taken out back, and flogged until your mother screams in pain.:biggrin_25525:
