My trip plan has me stopping at the TA on I 95 off exit 57 for my ten. How is this particular TA as far as safety. I have never had to do a ten in a truck stop in a large city. Just curious.

It's a nice TA. It is a pay parking lot though unless you fuel there.
diesel drinker, BillStep and KB3MMX Thank this. -
Don't wander off the property, you'll be alright. Never spent the night there because I lived North of the area. Would stop there early in the AM,around 4 or so,to fuel, always some shifty characters around at that time of the night.Just remember,Baltimore was named the most dangerous city by USA Today last month,343 homicides last year in a city of barely 600k and shrinking.

then that place must have cleaned up its crap. years ago, you'd be lucky to NOT have been mugged, knifed, or run over.06driver, BillStep, KB3MMX and 1 other person Thank this.

That's a good place to spend the night. It fills up early, and a little tight.
They charge for all parking over 2 hours, I think.
$20.00 or spend $20.00 in the store or buy fuel, not sure how many gallons.
The deli in the fuel store has some decent food.
Be careful where you drive. Many local roads are posted "no CMV"
Good luck.Dave_in_AZ, Bean Jr. and BillStep Thank this. -
I personally dont get out my truck unless absolutely needed when ever I go into that TA. Guy was shot and killed not even a year ago there.
Its not a nice area to be in.

Parking has gone down the toilet unless your there by 1530.
It's cleaned up some around the general area but it's still not someplace I wander around at.
Service inside is still decent though and the showers are still pretty good.
I did my 10 there a few weeks ago, but generally speaking I avoid that one unless I have no choice.
It is pay to park, but I fueled up so I don't know what the amount is. -
Perhaps not, but I've never run into any issues no matter where I've found myself. If you look and act like you're not an easy target, you're generally going to be passed over by people looking to mess with someone.diesel drinker, BillStep and snowwy Thank this.
