I sure did. I started in the days of the 'performance enhancing drugs.' I believe they started the drug testing in the late 90s.
I would be satisfied if they went back to the 14/10, but of course, they cant do that now with so many non driving morons in the industry. No Moron Left Behind!

Lol no. I was 22 and didnt have a care in the world at that point.

Im a get it done type guy. I dont need any hos to tell me when I can or can't drive safely. But when Im constantly pushed to change my log book so I can drive all day, unload and reload then drive most of the night to make an 7 or 8 am delivery time, I cant do that day in and day out.

It was very common back then, hit the job site, go “off duty” load or unload, go “on duty” and drive. Part of the problem we have now is not enough pansies back then didn’t have the nerve to stand up to their boss, I would LOVE to go back to the old HOS. In the interest of honesty I do like the 34 hour restart, recapping sucked

I'm anxiously waiting my self. Thats the bad part of having 2 trucks is its easy to back burner one. I have offically called off the Peterbilt shop. The paint is honestly better than I hoped. Perfect grille and well fitting hood. It needs the stacks put on rear fenders light bar etc. But as slow as they are and what the labor rate is I had all I could stand.

Dont run OS/OD on Tren Acetate, Six. You will destroy anyone in your path that dares cut you off. The good news is you won’t be worried about the Escort, since it effects the love life .LOL! J/K

Ive done that more times than I can count and I dont like it. If it takes then 3hrs to get me loaded, Id move my clock up and show it only took them an hr. Then run all day, try to get from wherever I loaded out to W Tx, hope than Im there before 5 or 6 to get a crew to unload me, then go off duty and mark it "personal conveyance" and dead head to wherever my next load is waiting, get a few hrs of sleep and do it all over again the next day.

To be frank, I’m not super worried about it.

You should see the crap our drivers put up on Facebook... not saying two wrongs make a right... but yeah. They have much bigger fish to fry than me in that category...

We have some sort of social media policy...couldn’t really tell yeah what it is. As long as I’m not running around in. Melton T shirt swearing to Jesus and putting it all up on YouTube I’d say I’m good.
