Thanks man. And hell no. No camera, no speed governor. It has the radar garbage but that's all getting removed. I'm gonna be running like an adult. Cuz, ya know, I'm an adult.

I really wish they'd figure out a way to give experienced guys with no safety violations the option to have a truck without the bells and whistles. Want to put a camera in for following distance? Fine, but after you've been here and proven yourself the rest should be disabled. If you screw up and get a ticket or an accident then it gets enabled for 6 months. Talked a lady in BRF whos been driving over 25yrs, and had just been given 1 of the brand new trucks with the leather seats and duals....and all the bells and whistles.....WHY!!! Ok sorry my regular rant is over for the daySuspect Zero, FalconsFan21, MACK E-6 and 1 other person Thank this.

I feel ya man, I really do.FalconsFan21 Thanks this.

Probably cheaper insurance with those safety features on it.Airmech, Steelersjunkie and FalconsFan21 Thank this.

Having experienced drivers who are usually safer drivers, and less prone to insurance claims would lower the insurance as well But with the bells and whistles in these trucks we are less likely to get the more experienced safer drivers because they refuse to be babysat when they've proven to be good drivers already. Millis is 1 of the better paying companies, but it doesnt matter to experienced guys because of the bells and whistles.Lonesome, Suspect Zero, Steelersjunkie and 2 others Thank this.

I have one on my Ram.
Steelersjunkie and FalconsFan21 Thank this. -
I so far have a 25,000 hour safe driving award under my belt, and certainly didn’t need all the “bells and whistles” and sirens to get it.
Suspect Zero, Steelersjunkie and FalconsFan21 Thank this. -
Certain diesel truck models are now required to have those right?MACK E-6 Thanks this.

I don’t know about a requirement, but it is a Cummins engine, so I suppose it was popular demand.Steelersjunkie Thanks this.

Right on. I thought I heard someone talking about government regs, but I may have been misremembering that. Old age and all that

MACK E-6 Thanks this.
