He made the same mistake as the USA driver. If you watch the USA video, there is a side street between the truck and the video camera. It is to the left of the video camera. All they had to do was back up and make a "Y" turn.
Seriously?

Showed my wife this new picture above - and her comment was:
"isn't that the same Company we saw hitting the 12' bridge with corner of 11'6" trailer?"
"At least they're consistent."Sirscrapntruckalot, lovesthedrive and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
They need to start putting the GOAL sticker on the side of the trailer to make it more visible to their drivers

Clearly the building was having a rough day. The nice swift man, was just using his truck to give it a hug. A little support if you will.
Those gosh darn Swift drivers, so just friendly to buildings, bridges, other trucks, ditches..
One wonders how one company can be so filled with such folks.
Bless their little hearts.
All my friends know the low rider
The low rider is a little higher
The low rider drives a little slower
Low rider, is a real goer
Hey
Low rider knows every street, yeah
Low rider, is the one to meet, yeah
Low rider don't use no gas now
The low rider don't drive too fast
Take a little trip, take a little trip
Take a little trip and see
Take a little trip, take a little trip
Take a little trip with me
I can't drive 55 I hear is a popular song among certain megas.
All puns are intended I assure you.

Guy was moving right to left across a line of trailers, tries to take the last spot in the row, turns hard right then begins to back into the slot.
For reasons that defy all common sense he completely forgot about the 53' trailer connected behind him (technically, it's on his right) backs up until he can't move anymore.
Seems the simplest explanation to me but WTF?!? -
Good thing the FMCSA allows these brilliant skillful drivers to serve America. Good thing he had e-logs too, this could have been way worse.

I can't even visualize the lead-up to this.
Can't you see the large white trailer in your mirror? The one that's coming around to wave at you?Pumpkin Oval Head, tech10171968 and x1Heavy Thank this. -
But Ive gotten close to those situations before. My solution usually involves dropping the trailer and backing into hooking from the side and that usually eliminated the problem several times. The one time I did not do it in a HD store resulted in inventory damage of a 5 figure value from the trailer overhang.
As far as the swift tractor it's parked. But the trailer? Ugh. I hope he never drives again.
