TruckersReport.com passes 1 million hits a month

The popular online forum and trucking jobs information site TruckersReport.com recently passed a milestone of 1,000,000 monthly hits. Said site user and 24-year veteran driver Jerry Reding of Puyallup, Wash., “Every day there’s new regulations or new technology we have to know to effectively do our jobs. It’s a great Website for truckers and a great place for rookies to find a new job.”

I remember this interview. I was actually at a family reunion when I got the call. The guy was nice enough, although I think he'd had a few too many pots of coffee that day...
We talked for probably a good half hour, he was asking questions about everything. He seemed to like a few of my comments, asking me to repeat them because he wanted to quote me. Frankly, I don't recall saying it was a great place for rookies to find a job. I may have, I just don't recall. I did mention new rules and regulations, and that this was a good place to get other drivers' insights and interpretations on them. I remember telling him that it was a good place for "lively debate", and joking with him about the quote that's been out there for many years:
I thought for sure he would use that one, but I guess not. Maybe it was for the best.
