www.schneiderjobs.com has box truck jobs that don't require a cdl.
They have box trucks & cargo vans that don't require a cdl.
If I were you though, I'd try to go with a company that will help you get a CDL-A.

Do some Google searches and maybe find a cdl school that has part time or weekend classes. Takes longer to complete, but it's one way to do it.Last edited: Apr 6, 2018

I'm not sure if company sponsored get your CDL programs in general are a great idea. They own your keester for several years. I went to a private school good thing I did because I persued a local job and now drive tanker for Walton milk hauling.
Also get your class A, class B limits what you can do. Tanker endorsement is a wise move and opens options. Around here milk hauling is huge with likely more then a dozen companies. Fuel hauling also is an option with added hazmat.
I don't know if I will ever persue doubles and tripples but who knows. -
When does ups not provide benefits for dock workers?
The only ones I know of that don't get benefits are the temp guys during holidays.
By the way op, you can't rent a truck for a class b license road test, most places won't rent to you a 26,000 plus give truck for a road test because you don't have a cdl and that is what is required to drive one. The examiner will have to inspect the truck to make sure that it is a legal 26,000 lb gvw truck and if it isn't, he is not allowed to let you do a road test in it. -
If you want a class B most schools will train you in a bus, but its low pay and not many hours.
