A testament to Swift training?

Found a patent for one from 1971

 

Sounds like a recycled story to me. The landing gear had been dragged over a hundred miles and was still "Trailing an enormous shower of sparks"? Course you were the first one the trainer talked to while this was happening? Cough***Bull***cough.

 

MO my feelings exactly. Yep, a trucker story for sure! Funny, you bet. But pure truck driver fiction.

 

i only did that ONCE!! LOL was in a hurry, only made it 20 miles before a fellow trucker gave me the heads-up on the CB!

 

The sad thing is if I read this correctly, the "TRAINER" was also under this "Impression"....

Now lets look at this from another angle....

Should that not perhaps have been caught during pretrip?


I just cant imagine how stupid a person must be to have done that

 

I dragged my Gear for 3 feet and I heard it loud and clear.

 

My trainer at May had an automatic landing gear and his truck would also hook up the air lines too.

It was called get you a&& out trainee and do it.

 

That's funny stuff right there!

 

And people wonder why I give Swift such a hard time on the CB every where I go. Just wait 30 sec. and there bound to do something stupid. Go to any truck stop and wait 5 min. and a Swift truck will go out the wrong way. They just can't help but to be stupid.

 

I agree, that sounds like a story. No one would drive a hundred miles or so with sparks flying out behind the trailer. Not even a Swifty.....
