I am not very inverter savy, so my question is, my company is going to install any inverter that I pick out. What is one of the better brands, and what wattage will give me the best results? I'd like to run a Microwave, fridge, crock pot/slow cooker, electric element, electric shaver (recharge the shaver's internal battery) and a rice cooker/steamer, naturally, not all at the same time..... Any suggestions?
    And, thanks in advance.

I have never had issues with my power drive. I have the big one but also a 300w plug in model. I have powered a ps3 with that little workhorse no issues. I also carried an electric razor and used the 300w it would charge my norelco no issues.

I did notice something interesting the other day. The wife bought me a 32" vizio TV cause my 22" skyworth bit the dust. I was parked at shipper and decided i could bear resetting the inverter for a cup of coffee. Well the television was still plugged in(not on) and the coffee pot went almost the whole brew cycle before the inverter went off and I had to restart to finish.

Hopefully who ever installed the I inverter used large enough wire to get the current out of the batteries. As the old saying goes, can't run a river through a straw. Most all vehicles charge at 13.8 too. Some gels in trucks give problems and keep the charging rate higher. The length of the run to the batteries also is a factor in wire size for the inverter.
