2000 FLD120, having issues with getting power to the AC clutch, blower motor resister, and the dash fan speed switch. Have tested wires on AC dryer, and have no power coming out. Tested wires at resister, also no power. Tested wires at dash rotary switch, no power either. There IS power coming from the center circuit breakers. Leads me to believe it's a bad relay, but none of the relays in the breaker box are labeled, except one (sleeper air/AC) The wiring diagram isn't really any help. Would appreciate some help on the location of these things or advice. Thanks!

Sorry for crappy picture. This view is looking straight at relays with panel off. I would bet all are green and corroded from leaky windshield. Find them at any auto part store.

Okay, here is the top row with the relays all pulled. Checked the connections, and despite the melted plastic, I've got power through all 4 relays. The Heat/AC relay was stuck up in there pretty good. Also, just tested the 3 AC related relays by plugging them into the horn slot, and they work. So now I'm stumped...

You may be barking up the wrong tree. You also need ground to trigger the relays. Clip the end of test light to 12v+. Look at relay and the #85 blade should be ground trigger from switch (i.e. when you press horn button, ground will be at #85 to trigger relay. When you let go of button, no ground so no horn) Test accordingly.

Update: I switched around some of the relays, inserting the AC power and Blower relays. Dash switch and Blower are now working. These last two relays have plastic burned onto the prongs, will probably go ahead and change those out.

Edit: Tested another relay, plugged into the Clutch port, and AC is now working. I wonder if some of these sockets just had the wrong voltages going to them..? My work here is finished. Thanks so much for the help!

You got lucky. Cheap fix. Remember those relays are bad because of water leaking in from windshield. Load those relay contacts with di-electric grease before installing.

    BoxCarKidd and smctransferllc Thank this.
